Christian Missionizing and Social Transformation
Published in Hardcover by Praeger Publishers (September, 1992)
Author: Jack E. Nelson
Average review score:

A must for every MUHOROVE
I read this work back when it was published as a Ph.D.dissertation. I was moved by the history described in those pages.

In this book, Jack proves to be a good researcher, a person able to decribe facts from their historical stand-point, while mainataining his objectivity and neutrality. It might seem like a descriptive social study, but for someone who is a MUHOROVE (like myself, something I am very proud of), this book should be a starting point to come to an understanding of one'self. Our grandparents, parents, and ourselves were brought into something that we quite did not understand. By getting to know the historical aspect of the Baptist missionary effort in Kivu, the background of the split that took place in Katwa befor e my birth, we can get to know much more ourselves.

I encourage all banyaKatwa, wahorove, and the member of the God-blessed baptist community in Kivu, to check this book out. (I consider it to be a CLASSIC)

A Spectacular Book - A Must Read!!!
This is one of the best investments that I have ever made when it came to buying a Christian Book! This book is written by Dwight K. Nelson and is absolutely fantastic! There are a total of nine chapters in the book and each chapter is well prepared. I found this book to be incredibly interesting and I had a hard time trying to put it away. (PS> Don't bring it on vacation -- you'll spend your whole vacation reading it, enjoying it and absolutely LOVE IT the whole time like I did!!!)

I would highly recommend this book for all Christians. If you do, you will certainly gain a new perspective for Jesus Christ and his AWESOME LOVE for both you and me!

Author: Kristin Nelson
Average review score:

Engaging Literature
Clever Raccoons is an engaging book for preschool-grade 3. The choice of vocabulary words and photographs are so appropriate to this age group. The author is sensitive to the key concepts that children need to learn about raccoons. I would highly recommend this book to all parents who are looking for a book that teaches their child about the environment and will help their child become excited about science.

Clip Art,More, and Even More Clip Art for the Liturgical year
I have used the liturgical clip art books from Liturgical Press for more than ten years. They are fabulous, clear, and cover a broad range of seasonal liturgical needs. The art items are presented in a variety of combinations and sizes, so if you don't have a copier that reduces, it helps. These volumes and also those by Placid Stuckenschneider are among th best any where commercially available.

Cointelpro : the FBI's secret war on political freedom
Published in Unknown Binding by Monad Press : distributed by Pathfinder Press ()
Author: Nelson Blackstock
Average review score:

A shocking and fascinating account
Cointelpro by Nelson Blackstock is a close and penetrating look at the illegal FBI counterintelligence program code-named COINTELPRO. Brought to light by a lawsuit filed in 1973 and settled thirteen years later, the COINTELPRO program, its methods for political disruption, techniques used by the FBI, CIA, and military intelligence, are all covered in-depth in this shocking and fascinating account. Enhanced with an introduction by Noam Chomsky, Cointelpro is especially timely reading in view of the radical measures being passed into law and implemented under the aegis of Homeland Security.
